Strong to severe thunderstorms are expected to develop across the Plains Today. These storms will move into southeastern Kansas and southwestern Missouri and Central Missouri late this afternoon into tonight. The potential for severe thunderstorms along with heavy rainfall and flooding is expected to develop across the entire region including southeastern Kansas and the Missouri Ozarks on Monday and persist into Tuesday. All modes of severe weather will be possible including large hail, damaging winds, and isolated tornadoes. Stay tuned to the latest weather information regarding this potential of severe weather.

Severe thunderstorms are expected to develop across the Plains Sunday. These storms may move into the Ozarks Sunday night. The potential for severe thunderstorms is expected to develop across the region including southeastern Kansas and the Missouri Ozarks on Monday and may persist into Tuesday. Showers and thunderstorms return to the forecast today as an upper level low moves into the area. Isolated strong storms will be possible late in the day and the early evening. Chances for scattered thunderstorms will continue to Thursday. A much stronger storm will take shape as it moves from the Rockies into the Plains early next week. A slow moving front will bring the potential for severe weather late Sunday and again on Monday and Monday night.
